The place to be is Udom Thai. The first thing I noticed from the outside was the festive look of the restaurant. Once inside, the restaurant has a real, authentic feel. I also saw the care and attentiveness given to the customers, and my experience was no different. That said, I enjoyed my dining experience from beginning to end. As stated, the restaurant has a very authentic feel, and the staff is attentive. Now, a note on the food. My friend and I had a few delicious appetizers. Our main course was equally tasty. I like my Thai food extra spicy, and the chef fired it up. Every dish was prepared with love, and the chef's presentation of each entree, including the appetizers, was served excellently. I recommend you try Udom Thai for all the reasons I've mentioned. I promise you, you will will delighted ans pleased. Enjoy.

Honestly, when my family and I walked in we were a little skeptical because there was nobody in there but we decided to give this place a shot! It was worth it. I got the Pad See Ew which was so good! Also the Fried rice & Roast Duck was amazing. And let me tell you about that Lemongrass Tum Yom. It was soooo good. So flavorful & the perfect amount of spice. I loved how lemony it was. Everything had great flavor & I loved how welcoming they were. We were served our food so quick too! I highly recommend this place.

Average vibes. No frills. Look, this is not my first choice spot to go to in Brooklyn; HOWEVER, there are many attributes that make this place a frequently visit spot: - they are open later than most restaurants in the area. Want food on a late night? Don't waste your time at other places, come here and they are always ready and happy to serve you. - service is relatively fast even for a place that always has customers seated at the restaurant. - the staple Thai dishes are consistently great. I order the same dishes all the time. I should know My go to's: Shrimp roll Chicken and shrimp steamed dumpling Shrimp or beef pad Thai Chicken basil I will forever be a ride or die for this place. It has always had my back on hungry late nights!

I was actually really pleased with my dishes! A few reviews mentioned that their meat was old and that things were bland. In my chicken pad thai, my chicken was not old. I also liked the flavoring. It was pretty typical and the way you expect your pad Thai to taste. I asked for mild spicy level because I wasn't feeling the heat that day... and it was definitely seasoned mildly. The amount that I received was great for a lunch special. But I'm just greedy and wish that there was more! The salad on the side was a nice addition. The peanut sauce/salad dressing was really good. The spring roll and dumpling were also a nice addition. I like the way that they have put together a lunch special that is well-rounded. I'll definitely be ordering a lunch special again. My favorite part of this entire order has be the giant spring rolls. Honestly, I never had a shrimp roll like this until the day I had these!!! They really are "giant". They are filled with chicken. They are just perfect to me and I'm ddeefffinniiitteelllyyy going back for those. Disclaimer: I did not get to see the inside of the restaurant because I ordered my lunch on DoorDash and was too lazy to walk a couple blocks to check out the spot. I'm hoping to walk over there eventually to update this review.

My review is for takeout only, but I'm now regretting having lived in this neighborhood for five years and never checking out Udom Thai. It's very basic looking and frankly the reviews were just ok, and I'm pretty loyal to Muse close by. With that said - wow! So much better than expected. What turned me was that they have pineapple curry on the menu, one of my absolute favorite Thai dishes that you don't see on all menus. I decided to give it a shot and I'm so happy with it. It came piping hot with an excellent flavor - I will most certainly be ordering from Udom frequently from here on out!
